On Monday, March 5, in conjunction with Town Meeting, the Friends of Cornwall School (FOCS) will be holding a Silent Auction to raise funds for the programming and initiatives that FOCS mounts each year.
When you come for Town Meeting, please make a point of swinging by the library to check out the range of merchandise and services that community members and local businesses have donated to the cause. And if you have something you’d like to give, please contact Lilly Devlin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A full list of available items will be posted on the Cornwall School Web site closer to the auction date.
Bidding will begin before the 5 p.m. pre-Town Meeting dinner, which benefits the Cornwall School’s Farm-to-Plate program. It will close shortly after the conclusion of the school budget meeting.
FOCS is a non-profit parent organization dedicated to supporting educational and extra-curricular activities for Cornwall elementary students. FOCS raises money and coordinates volunteers for a wide variety of purposes such as field trips, after-school activities (soccer, yoga, foreign languages), school and community events, and library privileges for teachers. We periodically fundraise in order to support these important activities that cannot be financed by the general school budget. Thank you for your support!
