Well this weekend looks to be another fun filled weekend here in Cornwall!
Starting on Saturday, June 23, the Cornwall Congregational Church will be hosting their annual Strawberry Festival. The festival runs from 11 A.M. – 3 P.M., and includes: lunch items, a silent service auction, clowns and face painting, music, and of course the world famous Strawberry Shortcake or Sundae.
Then on Sunday, June 24th, the Cornwall Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting their annual Chicken Bar-B-Que with slow cooked chicken basted with a special sauce (also world famous) at the Route 30 fire station from Noon – 2 P.M. This chicken sells out fast, so get there in plenty of time. The event features full meals, including the department’s famous chicken, sides and beverage, as well as hamburgers and hotdogs (if you prefer them). Meals are available to eat at the station or for take-out. The cost is $10 for the full meal.
