The Lemon Fair Insect Control District is looking for a Board of Supervisors candidate, starting immediately, for its six-person board (three from Cornwall and three from Bridport). This is a two-year term.
The board supervises the mosquito larvicide program, financed primarily by State reimbursement and town contributions. The program is based on an aerially applied, non-chemical product. In addition to a two-hour monthly board meeting, the job involves active oversight of some aspect of the program itself.
Present board members are: Tom Baskett (758-2055), Dinah Bain and Rusty Sherman from Bridport and Lew Castle (462-3640)and Chris Chapline (462-3760) from Cornwall. Most of the work is between April and September. Please call for information.
