The Cornwall Select Board will hold a special meeting (via Zoom) January 12 to consider comments to and vote on Green Mountain Power’s Section 1111 permit to run power lines in the public right of way along Delong Road.
The purpose of this meeting will be to evaluate the technical solution proposed by GMP for providing power to the Kinkeads as it affects Cornwall’s roads. If interested persons have alternative suggestions for a technical solution to providing power to the Kinkead residence, they are strongly encouraged to contact GMP’s representative well in advance of the Special Meeting to discuss those potential solutions so that a thorough technical evaluation may be made by all parties at the hearing on January 12. This will also allow GMP’s Section 1111 permit application to be amended, if necessary, and evaluated by Select Board members prior to the hearing.
