February 11, 2022

Greetings all:

Here is the annual special newsletter with all the town and school meeting election information related to the Town Meeting Day election. Cornwall no longer mails town reports, but we are required to provide specific information to each voter prior to the Town Meeting. As has been mentioned, this year’s town meeting election will be voted by Australian ballot only, there will be no in-person floor meeting. There will be a required informational meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 7:00PM.

Every active Cornwall voter will be mailed the Cornwall town meeting ballot. We will be using the vote tabulator to compile the results for the Cornwall ballot. I will not be able to send you the school district ballots unless you request them. You may request the school ballots by using the form on the last page of this newsletter, email, phone or in person. The school ballots will be deposited in separate ballot boxes and transported to Middlebury Union High School to be commingled with the other district ballots and those results will be tabulated as well.

You can return your ballots by mail, by dropping them in the green box on the front porch of the town hall or by bringing your completed ballot to the town hall on Tuesday, March 1,2022 between the hours of 7 AM -7 PM to check in and deposit the ballots directly into the vote tabulator and the separate ballot boxes for the school ballots.

The required informational meeting will be held via Zoom video conferencing on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 7:00 PM. Here is the Zoom meeting information:
