So as promised/warned, I am going to take a bit of time off. It starts this Friday, August 5, the office will be closed. Because the office will be closed, Thursday, August 4 will be the last day to pick up Absentee Ballots at the town hall. The office will be open from 9 AM – 5 PM that day. At this late date, mailing the ballots is a bit iffy, but I would be happy to try if that is the best alternative for you. Call or email me with the request.
Next week, Carolyn and I will be setting up for the election on Monday, August 8 in the afternoon. The polls will be open on Tuesday, August 9 from 7 AM – 7 PM. Technically, the office will be closed as it is difficult to have someone trying to do a title search on that day.
The town office will then be closed for the balance of that week, August 10 – August 12. The office will also be closed on Tuesday, August 16. I will return to the office on Wednesday, August 17 at 9 AM.
I will be out of town for most of the time off, but can and will check the townofcornwall1761@gmail.com email inbox for urgent issues.
