Learn how to attract and keep pollinators active in your own backyard. Join UVM Pollinator Specialist Laura Johnson in a backyard in Cornwall to find out how you can do your part to attract and keep pollinators on your property. There will be plenty of time for questions

and answers and this will be an entirely outdoor event, so prepare for the weather.

 

Bring a chair if you would like to sit. All current recommended Covid protocols will be followed. No pets please.

 

Laura is a beekeeper, has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from St. Lawrence University and a master’s degree in horticulture from New Mexico State University. For more than two years, she also served as an agriculture extension volunteer in the Peace Corps in Paraguay. Laura also worked with the Migrant Education program in 2017 at UVM Extension, before moving to an agronomy outreach role with the UVM Extension Center for Sustainable Agriculture. She is now the UVM Extension Pollinator Support Specialist.
